Joining Procedure

In order to pursue the objectives of the Society over the widest possible field, the Society operates an Affiliate membership scheme for Corporate organisations. Such organisations may be companies, government departments, professional institutions and educational establishments. Admission to the class of Affiliate is at the discretion of Council.

The procedure for Affiliate membership is as follows:

Print an application form or save, complete and email an application form.

Please send supporting evidence such as CVs of directors, corporate brocures and other information about your company to the Society's office to support your application.

Your complete application will be processed by the office and forwarded to the External Affairs Committee for consideration.

The External Affairs Committee in conjunction with the Council will consider your application and advise the office of their decision, at which point you will be informed of the decision by letter.

Your invoice will be sent and on payment you will receive a certificate of affiliation and will be able to begin to enjoy the many benefits of affiliation to the Safety and Reliability Society.

The consideration process typically can take 8 weeks from receipt of your application to acceptance.
