SaRS Midlands Branch covers the major towns and cities of Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester Loughborough and surrounding areas.

Recent events run by the Branch have included:

A talk on Asset Management of railway infrastructure was provided by Prof. John Andrews, of Nottingham University and

A talk on introducing and managing Process Safety Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within a large multinational utility organisation was provided by Neil Jackson of National Grid.

Midlands Branch holds a series of evening lectures each year, these lectures are normally held on the third Tuesday of the month between September and May each year. Lectures address topics which are of relevance to Safety and Reliability Professionals and are an excellent method of keeping informed of current developments; additionally the meetings are an ideal networking opportunity. These events are open to non members and visitors are most welcome.

This year’s events ended in March and the branch will now be working on a new series of events beginning in the Autumn.
