Events Organised by the Society
Each year the Society organises events in different locations throughout the UK. These events are open to members of the Society and non-members of the Society and are typically cross-industry and broad based in focus.
On 14th October 2010 The Society will celebrate ‘30 Years of Risk Assessment - Are We There Yet?' ’ in October 2010 with an event at Thistle Hotel, Marble Arch in London.
We are delighted to announce that the keynote speakers for this event are Trevor Kletz and Bev Littlewood.
This event will showcase the Society's journey to its present corss-industry, multi domain perspective through eminet speakers from varied sectors.

Events in Manchester
Following the highly successful '21st Century Reliability' event in 2009, the Society would like to explore this theme further with '21st Century Reliability: the first decade'. This event will take place at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester on 15th July 2010.
Events in Aberdeen
North of Scotland Dinner
The North of Scotland Branch of the Society host a dinner each year during May in Aberdeen.

Technical Safety Seminars
The North of Scotland Branch of the Safety and Reliability Society will be hosting all day Technical Safety Seminars in Aberdeen at regular intervals. The aims of the Seminars are to provide appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Technical Safety Engineers working in the oil and gas industry. Following several successful CPD events in 2008 and 2009, there will be an further CPD event on 25th November 2010 at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels in Aberdeen on Leadership.
