Each year the Society organises events in different locations throughout the UK. These events are open to members of the Society and non-members of the Society and are typically cross-industry and broad based in focus.
Events in London
SaRS Workshop on Managing Ageing Assets
A workshop focussing on Managing Ageing Assets will be held at RINA on the 11th June 2009. This cross-industry event will be of interest to managers and practitioners.
Technical Safety and Reliability Seminar
Joint Technical Day with The Royal Institute of Naval Architects will be held at RINA in Spring 2009. SaRs will join with RINA to bring together a group of professionals to speak on this important theme.
Events in Bristol
SaRS Annual Conference
SaRS08: Solutions to the Reliability and Safety Engineering Shortfall. The Ministry of Defence (Defence Equipment and Support) headquarters in Bristol has offered to host the event on the afternoon of Friday 2nd October following its Equipment Safety Assurance Seminar 08 (ESAS08) of 30th Sept to 2nd October.
Reliability Seminar
A Reliability Seminar will be held in Bristol in the Autumn.
Events in Aberdeen
Technical Safety Seminars
The North of Scotland Branch of the Safety and Reliability Society will be hosting all day Technical Safety Seminars in Aberdeen at regular intervals. The aim of the Seminars is to provide appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Technical Safety Engineers working in the oil and gas industry.
North of Scotland Dinner
The North of Scotland Branch of the Society host a dinner each year during May in Aberdeen
