Each year the Society organises events in different locations throughout the UK. These events are open to members of the Society and non-members of the Society and are typically cross-industry and broad based in focus.

SARS09 in conjunction with The IET 4th Annual Conference on Systems Safety
This year the SARS09 conference will be held in London in conjection with the 4th international IET System Safety Conference.The theme of SARS09 is:
"It's not just wires". Papers are invited in the following subject areas:

Events in Aberdeen
Technical Safety Seminars
The North of Scotland Branch of the Safety and Reliability Society will be hosting all day Technical Safety Seminars in Aberdeen at regular intervals. The aim of the Seminars is to provide appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Technical Safety Engineers working in the oil and gas industry. Following two successful CPD events in 2008, there will be an announcement of further seminars in 2009.
