Risk and Safety Intelligence Analyst at RSSB

After graduating from Warwick University with a degree in Physics in 2017, I started my career in safety at the Rail Safety and Standards Board as a graduate analyst.  Soon after starting, I began attending events run by the Safety and Reliability Society and since then, I’ve learned a lot about safety and reliability, completing a course with distinction in Risk and Safety Management and learning a great deal from my knowledgeable colleagues – as well as from the wider network that has been opened up to me through SaRS, not to mention the diverse range of sectors across which learning is shared through the SaRS events programme.

I joined the SaRS London Branch Committee in 2019 to help out with events, learn from the others on the committee and develop skills that apply to the safety industry and beyond – the friendly team has made me feel very welcome and I’m pleased to be able to make contributions that are valued.  In the future, I intend to continue my development as I gain more experience and increase my SaRS membership as I keep on playing an active role in the SaRS community.
