In this SaRS Midlands branch event, Alan Thomas from CAVT will look at the many challenges faced by driverless vehicles, starting with safety statistics and human error, the evolution of collisions from normal traffic to fatalities, and the opportunities for automated intervention in real life and death, before looking at technological capability, regulatory and socio-economic challenges. Views originally seen as controversial will be open to discussion.

Attendance is free and open to both SaRS members and Non-Members.

Refreshments will be available from 6.00 pm, with the talk starting at 6.30 pm.
