The workshop will encourage participants to commit to taking tangible actions that promote psychological safety in their own project teams.

The session is presented by Erik Tomlin.

Erik is the EDI Platform Manager at the Royal Academy of Engineering where he oversees Culture+, the Academy’s equality, diversity, and inclusion platform developed primarily for engineering startups, scaleups, and SMEs. He previously worked at MTV in Music Licensing for 14 years, where he founded and chaired the LGBT+ Employee Resource Group for 10 years. He was also a founding steering committee member for InterMediaUK, the LGBT+ Network Group for professionals in the media. After MTV, Erik worked for a small D&I consulting firm that specialised in ethnicity inclusion, where he project managed their corporate membership programme and event managed the British LGBT Awards.
